Sheraton Taipei Hotel was officially opened in 1981 and represented a

Accommodation : The Lai Lai Sheraton provides 686 rooms including 71 suites to choose from. Room types range from the Superior Single to the palatial two-story Presidential Suite. In addition to more than 300 non-smoking rooms, the Lai Lai Sheraton also offers Ladies-Only rooms, with special amenities and added security for lady travelers. & Services : Dining at the Lai Lai Sheraton is an adventure on the Silk Road, with superb cuisine from both East and West. Cuisine from the Orient includes two Japanese restaurants. The Momoyama offers Japanese cuisine in the setting of a traditional Japanese Inn; while the Teppanyaki specializes in grilled steaks and seafood prepared in that special teppanyaki style. Chinese restaurants include the Jade Garden with the ever-popular Cantonese cuisine, including dim sum. The Shangri-La Garden specializes in Shanghainese cuisine. Map : All of Taipei is at your doorstep. A short walk brings you to all major government offices and some of the city's major tourist attractions. Major department stores, banks and commercial centers are also within walking distance. A five-minute walk brings you to the Taipei Railway Station and Mass Rapid Transit terminal. The major east-west MRT line runs just in front of the hotel, bringing the whole of eastern Taipei, including the Taipei World Trade Center, with only a few minutes of the hotel. |
