travel in Colonial Africa. Situated on the lakefront of stunning Lake
Taupo, the hotel is only a 15 minute walk into town and right across the
road from the beach.Accommodation : The Caboose has 57 rooms, all rich in African decor replicating the luxurious rail travel of the famous Colonial African era. The hotel comprises of train compartments and first class sleepers.  Train Compartments: In keeping with the rail theme, these rooms are compact, elegant and cosy, with double or twin beds and shower en-suite. The compartments are an ideal option for offering delegates their own room. Zambezi Sleepers:  These rooms are larger than a compartment and contain either a king size bed or two single beds with a full bathroom ensuite. Two of these sleepers have a double bed and offer disabled facilities. Nairobi Sleepers: These rooms are more spacious and contain a queen size bed and single day bed with full bathroom ensuite. Mombasa Sleepers:  These sleepers are ideal for couples or one/two child families. They contain a queen size bed, a double day bed and full bathroom ensuite. Kalahari Sleepers: Perfect for families or groups of friends. These sleepers have either a queen size bed or two singles and a bunk bed (two single beds) with a full bathroom en-suite.
