Passport and Visa
   Visitors must have a valid passport and obtain a four-week Tourist Visa from a Myanmar embassy or diplomatic mission abroad. Two application forms and three passport-size photos will be needed. The visa fee is US$ 20 (subject to change). No visa upon arrival is available.

Land Border Crossings : If you wish to enter Myanmar by land, please make sure that you have a valid visa from the embassy and check with the local operator for traveling conditions.

Visa From The Embassy of Myanmar :

Requirements
1. Visa application form (x1) and arrival form (x1)
2. Passport size photograph (x2)
3. Valid passport
4. Visa application fee (please contact embassy for current fees)
5. Self-addressed and stamped envelope
6. E.V.T letter - The E.V.T. letter is issued for tourists travelling as part of a package tour. Tourists with E.V.T letters are exempted from the mandatory exchange of US$200 into FEC 200 (Foreign Exchange Certificates) upon arrival in Myanmar. This amount cannot be exchanged back upon departure.

Procedure
1. Procedure: To obtain the E.V.T. letter, submit the following details to E-Biz Travel
  - Full name as it appears on passport
  - Date of birth
  - Passport number
  - Dates of travel
2. All the above-mentioned documents should be sent to the nearest Myanmar Embassy in your country by registered mail for a visa stamp (and E.V.T letter if applicable). Once the authorities approve visa, the passport is posted back to you in your self addressed/stamped/registered envelope.

1. EVT letter: Approximately 1 working day, excluding postal delivery time

Other
1. Single entry tourist visa - valid 4 weeks
2. Visa stamp requires 1 full page
3. No prior registration or approval from authorities necessary.
