Accommodation The
Balmoral boasts 188 guest bedrooms, including 20 of the most attractive
suites in Europe, many of which have working fireplaces. The bedrooms
have an authentic character borrowed from the original design themes of
the hotel.All rooms are individually designed and include all the facilities that you would expect from a five-star hotel. We have also upgraded the in-room technology. All rooms now have two phone lines, a modem point and satellite TV on which you can also check and pay your bills in the room before departing. Many of the bedrooms have wonderful views of the city, including Edinburgh Castle and the rolling hills close by.  Standard
Rooms - These bedrooms are available in either twin, queen or king sized
beds with the majority facing into the bright, white-tiled courtyard of
the hotel or with city views. The rooms vary in size but are on average
28 square metres. They are all tastefully designed with pastel colours
of creams, warm greens with hints of Scotland in the way of paintings,
books and furnishings. An armchair and cocktail table by the window offers
guests a good reading place. The bathrooms are all three-piece with deep
baths, marble floors and sink space. The standard 5 Star amenities are
also provided.Deluxe Rooms - Deluxe bedrooms are very spacious averaging at 36 square metres in size with either Twin or King Size beds. They have a defined sitting area within the bedroom which consists of a settee and two armchairs which is perfect for relaxing after a day viewing the beautiful sights the city has to offer. Deluxe rooms offer some of the most spectacular views across the city. These rooms are extremely comfortable and exquisitely designed again the designs are in pastel colours of creams, warm greens, cerise pinks with hints of Scotland and good-sized marbled floored and sink bathrooms.
