The Hotel, which occupies an area of over 12.000 square meters of some of the most expensive and sought after real estate in Brazil, has 226 bedrooms and suites, 148 of which in the main building and 78 suites in the Annex (tower wing building) which was added to the hotel in 1948 and fully sound proofed in 1992.    From 1991 to 1995 the Annex and the Main Building were completely renovated and modernized. A new Executive floor (5th floor), which holds 26 rooms and suites and the 6th floor with 7 Penthouse suites were added to the hotel. Standard Room : Located in the main building from 1st to 4th floor, Standard Rooms can be rear facing, pool or ocean view. All featuring King or Twin beds. The high ceilings are a trademark of the hotel for all rooms in the main building. Deluxe Room : Spacious Rooms located in the main building, from 1st to 4th floor, facing the world famous Copacabana Beach. All featuring King or Twin beds.
